An intimate dining experience
The perfect place for that important business lunch or power dinner, gatherings of friends, or simply to enjoy an intimate dining experience for two. With a mix of private tables or upholstered booths in the inside dining room, and cushioned wicker armchairs and tables overlooking the below street courtyard on our outdoor verandah, Victoria Grill is in the very heart of Hamilton surrounded by sleek offices of International and Local Companies.
A classic city bistro
Elegant and widely appealing food suits many tastes and price points, and with tablecloths topped with crisp white paper, the feeling is of a classic city bistro, with numerous wines available by the glass. Victoria Grill is about the freshness of food and the fun; the camaraderie of friends, colleagues and associates, the enjoyment of eating with family, and the reliability of a fair priced, professionally served, tasty business lunch or dinner.
Cooking up a storm
At Victoria Grill, so much of the experience revolves around the food, and to that end we have a professional, passionate and talented kitchen brigade that is relentless in their drive for delicious dishes. Our Chef de Cuisine, Ryan Solien, originally from Los Angeles, cites a heavy Franco-Italian influence in his cooking having spent much of his recent life in Rome, Italy.
Executive Chef
Overseeing all kitchens in the company is Executive Chef Derek Myers, who trained at the famed Dubrulle Culinary Arts School in Vancouver, Canada, and was awarded a prestigious opportunity to cook a Night of Bermuda Cuisine at the eminent James Beard House in New York, an honour rarely bestowed on chefs outside of America.
Capacity for all
Victoria Grill can seat 50 guests inside and 50 guests outside (which with the touch of a switch can be fully enclosed with roll down waterproof enclosures to protect against inclement weather). With lots of street parking, Victoria Grill is open for Lunch on Monday to Friday, and dinner six nights a week.
I just wanted to send a quick note of thanks to the organizers of Saturday's event. I was a little nervous about the outdoorsy venue given the weather. Not only was the weather a non-issue from an attendee's perspective (great job with the tarps!!) but it was actually quite nice to be in the lounge-y atmosphere. Also noteworthy - the food was FANTASTIC and well worth the ticket price (even as a patron). Victoria Grill really did a brilliant job. I would definitely endorse using the location for future events. (We) both had a fab time. Thanks again for a great night
